Black Tea



 Black tea is produced by oxidizing the leaf of the plant Camellia sinensis. The name ‘black tea’ can be attributed to the color of the tea. However, technically, it is dark amber or orange. The superb and seductively delicious black teas to enjoy. Black tea is the most oxidized type of tea, and its flavor is usually stronger than that of the other types. Darjeeling First Flush, Darjeeling Second Flush, Assam CTC tea, Assam Orthodox, Earl Grey, and a variety of breakfast teas like Breakfast and English Breakfast are all popular black teas. The whole leaf black tea (SFTGFOP1) with refreshing aroma or brokens (STGBOP/TGBOP) are black tea broken leaf grade gives a stronger brew. The taste of black tea, depends on the region and the season of manufacturing. Darjeeling First Flush Black tea will have a fruity taste, as compared to Darjeeling Second Flush which is fuller bodied with a distinct muscatel flavor as compared to Assam tea which has a distinct malty taste or Nilgiri Orange Pekoe tea which has a light floral taste.
