Nitrogen fixers: These microorganisms convert atmospheric nitrogen into a form that can be used by plants. Examples include Rhizobium, Azotobacter, and Azospirillum.
Phosphate solubilizers: These microorganisms dissolve phosphorus compounds in the soil, making them more available to plants. Examples include Bacillus megaterium and Pseudomonas striata.
Potassium mobilizers: These microorganisms help to release potassium from insoluble compounds in the soil. Examples include Bacillus subtilis and Pseudomonas fluorescens.
Mycorrhizae: These fungi form a symbiotic relationship with plant roots, helping them to absorb nutrients and water from the soil.
